Position Summary:

A Labor Foreman is the top front-line supervisor on remodeling job sites. This individual possesses experience in the industry can direct, supervise and fix common issues on the job. The Foreman is the main point of contact for job-site operations and generally serves as a go-between with field staff and project managers. The Foreman is the job site leader and has both specific and floating responsibilities. Their duties vary between completing skilled and unskilled work depending on the task, but some of them include leading demolition crews, cleaning, moving materials, painting, staining, drywall touchup, flooring installations, punch list, accepting deliveries, meeting with inspectors, meeting with trades and minor plumbing and electrical tasks. The Foreman also has an eye for quality and is willing to go the extra mile for the team.

The Foreman is responsible for possessing competency in the following areas to perform their role in a safe, productive, and effective manner.

  • Direct and assist with general labor tasks
  • Direct, train, and oversee staff
  • Ensures a clean and safe work environment

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • In-depth remodeling and general trade knowledge
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to be coached
  • Upbeat attitude and energy in a team setting
  • Strong ability to identify and solve practical job site issues on their own
  • Able to articulate and communicate any problems or obstacles to project managers

Experience Required:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Must have an android or iPhone with a data plan
  • Must have all tools needed for a job to act in a lead role
  • 3 Years experience in the remodeling field, 5+ years preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, plans and understand construction techniques

  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail while working independently are required

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:
