Full Job Description

$1,500.00 sign on bonus after 60 days of employment.

This position requires extensive knowledge of carpentry, interior and/or exterior remodeling process. Your role is to skillfully plan and execute project phases by coordinating schedules, managing budgets, and relationships. You will monitor project progression from beginning to end. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the capability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong carpentry background, be detailed and organized, be team players, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results in high-pressure situations.

  • Managing and monitoring projects from pre-construction meetings to completion
  • Analyzing plans and contract documents
  • Writing project schedules to coincide with start and deadlines
  • Providing clients with a single point of contact for all aspects of the project
  • Managing time in the office and the field (30% office / 70% field)
  • Provide leadership to field crews, fostering an environment that promotes safety, teamwork, and discipline
  • Measuring and ordering of jobsite materials such as doors, trim, windows, flooring.
  • Building relationships with trade professionals and vendors
  • Analyze and communicate issues as they arise to leadership
  • Suggest new ways of doing business to improve our systems, production, and value to our clients
  • Maintain a professional image to clients and in the community

  • Strong working knowledge of carpentry and the overall residential remodeling procedures and safety requirements.
  • Must have rough and finish carpentry skills evident of being able to complete tasks when under deadlines.
  • Confidence inspecting, writing change orders, and collecting money for changes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Able to provide excellent customer service while managing demanding clients
  • High school diploma required; AA/BS degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience overseeing interior remodeling as a lead carpenter or PM, preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience as a lead carpenter or foreman, preferred.
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel), and construction management software (BuilderTrend)
  • Physically able to carry out essential construction duties and lift to 75lbs.
  • Requires satisfactory verification of criminal record and driving record check.

Job Type: Full-time, salary


Min: $50,000

Mid: $60,000

Max: $70,000

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
